Cast out the hair wax! Fugedabout returning to the way you were -- you are the fabulous new you and wouldn't be exactly the same as five years ago even if you hadn't had cancer.

MargaretAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4179516101180622376.post-21698569219409498792008-10-13T22:53:00.000-07:002008-10-13T22:53:00.000-07:00OMG! Now it's tightly curled and I never know from day to day or shampoo to shampoo what it's going to do. It's like living with a toy store - a head full of slinkies.

I like yours, especially the way it lies somewhat flat on the sides.Susan Chttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12178330935523896363noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4179516101180622376.post-19513637049629635952008-10-13T22:15:00.000-07:002008-10-13T22:15:00.000-07:00First of all, your hair, and you, look great. You're absolutely right, our blogs are very similar.

I remember the day my sister insisted that I go out without a hat; revealing to the world my bald head. I became much more comfortable with it after that, but you are so right. It is much much easier for a man.

As for the worrying . . . I vowed to myself several months ago that I would not worry. I replaced the word with "Trust." And now I trust that what is meant to happen will happen. I trust in a power greater than me.

There are so many things we could talk about. Thank you for making the connection.
BillBaby Birdhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15199230462844582984noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4179516101180622376.post-53657822648305883012008-10-13T19:53:00.000-07:002008-10-13T19:53:00.000-07:00Yeah, I think you're definitely right about the ha...Yeah, I think you're definitely right about the hair thing - more difficult for women than for men. Not that it wasn't gut-wrenching when I sat in the barber's chair and had him cut it all off... but it's different.

CarlCarlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00540884672406337833noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4179516101180622376.post-4476801818216141202008-10-13T06:02:00.000-07:002008-10-13T06:02:00.000-07:00What a nice idea your friend had - giving you a tr...What a nice idea your friend had - giving you a trim outside! It's funny how hair after chemo sometimes comes back totally different. That happened to another friend of mine, too. You look good, short or long. Good luck on Tuesday!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
